Putting Down Roots

Root structure of a small tree, inverted and mounted on section of a tree trunk

Approximate dimensions:

24 in x 12 in x 21 in high

Base: 10 in dia. x 3 in high

The root structure was discovered near a creek in a snow bank, by me and my grandson, Andre, who suggested it would make a great sculpture. Together, we mounted the root structure on a wood base.
